TaeKwonDo 2 has been a member of the USNTF for over 11 years. Each year, Master Dorsey travels to Chicago, Illinois to train under Grand Master Duk Gun Kwon.

(2009) GRAND MASTER KWON VISITS TAEKWONDO 2
This summer, Grand Master Duk Gun Kwon visited a number of USNTF do jangs across North America. His first stop was to Portland, Oregon, to meet with Master Dorsey and visit with the students of TaeKwonDo 2. During his visit, Grand Master Kwon gave Master Dorsey a Certificate of Appreciation for Sir's work in Taekwondo, and for having a great Taekwondo program. Grand Master Kwon and Mrs. Kwon enjoyed their two-day visit to Portland before heading for Seattle to visit the USNTF school there. Grand Master Kwon took pictures and spoke with many of our students. The Grand Master also handed out USNTF buttons and a USNTF tie to Master Dorsey.
(2007) - TaeKwonDo 2 traveled to Chicago, IL to compete in the 15th Annual USNTF Tournament. At the Tournament, Master Al Dorsey was presented with a special four-foot trophy, which is now proudly displayed along with the other seven tall trophies (and countless other trophies) at the school. Master Dorsey received his second Letter of Commendation from Kukkiwon. TaeKwonDo 2's student competitors were awarded multiple medals in Forms, Sparring, and Weapons competitions.
(2006) - At the 14th Annual USNTF Tournament in Puerto Rico, Grand Master Duk Gun Kwon presented Master Al Dorsey with his first Letter of Commendation from Kukkiwon. Twelve families (a total of 44 people) traveled to Puerto Rico with Master Dorsey to represent TaeKwondo 2 at the 14th Annual USNTF Tournament held in Carolina, San Juan, Puerto Rico. TaeKwonDo 2 was awarded a trophy for third best school in Forms, Sparring and weapons, and Demos. The Mayor of Puerto Rico also presented Master Dorsey with a trophy for having the most students from a single school participate in the Tournament.
(2005) - In 2005, sixteen students from TaeKwonDo2 competed in the 13th Annual USNTF Tournament in Las Vegas, NV. These students were awarded 29 medals.
TaeKwonDo 2 students are well-known for their love of WTF sparring. Our students, especially our younger students (Ages 5-9), enjoy their sparring training and competing in Taekwondo tournaments.
