Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Master Al Dorsey (6th Dan)
Master Dorsey, the Oregon Director for the US National Taekwondo Federation, is the recipient of two Letters of Commendation from Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Federation headquarters. Master Dorsey has conducted several physical fitness and martial arts programs for the local community, including: a summer program for the City of Milwaukie Youth Center Pilot Project, a physical fitness program for Milwaukie High school to help students with their balance and stances, numerous stranger danger awareness programs for local area schools, and a Taekwondo program for the Milwaukie Police Department PAL program. Master Dorsey has been featured in Clackamas Review on several occasions for teaching Taekwondo to families, and especially to 17 moms in the school. He served in the US Army for eight years, and is also a Disabled Vietnam Veteran. Master Dorsey was the US Army Taekwondo Team Captain at the German/American International Taewkondo Tournament in 1972. "Master Dorsey just completed a six weeks course

Master Dewaine Dorsey (4th Dan)
Now 23 years old, Master Dewaine has trained in Taekwondo since the age of 8. For most of his martial arts career, Master Dewaine has competed in numerous tournaments throughout the United States. Master Dewaine received a Silver Medal at the 14th International Taekwondo Tournament in Puerto Rico, and a Bronze medal in the 2003 USA Nationals. As an experienced sparring coach with extensive training in Taekwondo and Cardio Kickboxing (up to four or five hours each day), Master Dewaine's instruction has helped several students to earn multiple tournament medals and trophies.

Stephanie Dorsey (Ma'am)
When you enter the TaeKwonDo 2 training facility, you will be greeted by Stephanie Dorsey. She is known as Ma'am, and handles all of the administration and paperwork for our school.
